kill team - alpha legion

2018 - 2020

A warband I converted and painted for the 1st edition of Kill Team. This was before the new Chaos Space Marine kits had been released, so I converted my legionaries from rubric marines. I think they turned out alright.

The Alpha Legionairres were heavily inspired by the cover art for Sons of the Hydra, especially the bright cyan-y colour and the champion's hydra whip.

The colour scheme eventually morphed into my Death Guard, which you can see in the purple shading visible on the sorcerer. The cultist contingent were repurposed in 2020 for a Necromunda Helot Cultist gang, with some leader additions, but I never really played much with them.
